Hand in my pocket- christina perri cover.I have a dream that one day, education will take the next step into becoming more varied. I have a dream that kids over the age of 13, with some idea of what they want to be when they grow up, can take certain classes to begin and improve those skills that they wish to take into consideration for their future jobs. I have a dream that every kid can respect his or her teachers, and for every teacher to treat the students as their equals. I have a dream that kids stop trying to grow up so fast, and learn the best they can but about important things that schools don’t really offer to teach like culture, instruments, and cooking. Things that are all appreciated in our world, but not considered quite as important.

I have a dream that woman will be noted for having the same capacity in everything that men do. I have a dream that girls and boys can be seen as equals in worlds like the business world, and the professional sport world, and that women can have the same opportunities as men.

I have a dream that discrimination will cease to exist. Differentiating women from men, black people from white, and categorizing people as stupid, or not good enough will stop. I have a dream that kids will no longer be bullied for their sexuality, their capability, or their weight. I have a dream that teenagers will look past each other’s exterior and see what’s really important, intelligence, kindness, hard work, and caring. Those are the qualities I want new generations to see in each other. I want black, white, Mexican, Asian, gay, straight, bisexual, Jewish, Christian, ugly, fat, weird, stupid, and retarded to stop being used to categorize each other negatively. I have a dream that we can all live happily, with more important things in our mind than how we look, and see things and what we believe in. That, is my dream.
